Dog Son

As you know, we have a Boston Terrier named Maximo. We treat our dog like he's a person (he often acts like one also). Honestly, we talk to him like he understands us (I think he really does) and we call ourselves Mama and Papa to him. LOL! We're a little out of control, but rest assured, we do not take him EVERYWHERE with us nor do we dress him up! Well, our dog is somewhat high-maintenance and sometimes I think he's bulimic. He loves to sleep in bed with us, under the covers, behind your legs. If you know anything about Boston's you know they have a tendency to over-heat. So, after being under the covers with us sometimes he'll come out and lay on his back, legs widespread, to cool off...other times he trots to the office and pukes. The downside to the latter is, we don't go into the office a lot because we still have things in there that need unpacked or taken to Goodwill so it's kind of a catch-all room with intentions of becoming an office, so we don't see his wonderful little gifts until a day or two later. That makes cleaning up a lot of fun. NOT. (We've learned our lesson and keep the door closed now.) At first we thought the culprit of the puking was overheating so we tried to put a stop to him sleeping in the bed. Now, my husband thinks it's his food. We switched from Iams to Bil Jac because Bil Jac is softer and easier on his teeth. He loved this food for about a year and would gobble it right up (to the tune of $16/bag). Now we've switched him to Natural Choice. He loved the Natural Choice yesterday, but later in the day he ended up puking on Justin's shirt. We've limited him to 1 cup of food on the morning and 1 cup of food in the evening to prevent over-eating. Does anyone have any suggestions or have a similar problem??
Such a good-looking boy!
