–noun
3. a sense of loss, disappointment, dissatisfaction, etc.
4. a feeling of sorrow or remorse for a fault, act, loss, disappointment, etc.
5. regrets, a polite, usually formal refusal of an invitation: I sent her my regrets.
6. a note expressing regret at one's inability to accept an invitation: I have had four acceptances and one regret.

If I'm going off of the definition of regret then I can say that I regret not spending enough time with my Grandparents before they passed away. I was extremely close to my Dad's parents and spent a great deal of my childhood at their house. In fact I loved it at their house so much that I often would beg my Mom to spend multiple nights in a row there. I think everyone has lost someone at some point in their lives and one of the regrets they have is not spending enough time with that person. I'd say this is one of my big regrets.

*P.S. This is a sad topic!
